One of the leading digital media providers in the mobile space is 7digital and features in excess of ten million fully licences tracks in their catalogue while continuing to grow, and now 7digital has been updates to version 1.4.5 to be compatible with Blackberry OS 6.

According to Ryan Blundell of Crackberry, the 7digital Music Store App enables users to browse by album, artist and tag, and purchase DRM free high quality MP3 files, and the app includes a music player and enables the user to import MP3 files and playlists while checking out the charts, new music and weekly features.

This latest version of 7digital now features support for the new BlackBerry Torch 9800, BlackBerry Pearl 3G 91xx and BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 along with universal search support on BlackBerry OS 6. Other new features include Last.fm recommendation on hi resolutions devices, filter support on the BlackBerry Storm series, integrated sign up and Add Card screens, and the ability to launch shortcut from the built in media player.

7digital v1.4.5 also seems some improvements such as improved battery performance on OS 4.6 handsets, more featured content on hi resolution handsets, improved music album art handling and improved 7digital download performance.
