Nokia N8 up for Pre-order in US and Due Release September

For all you Nokia fans over in the good old US of A, the Nokia N8 is now available for pre-order, and joins several other countries that have already made the Nokia N8 available for pre-order as we previously reported (here)

The word by way of NokNok is that Americans can now pre-order the Nokia N8 by visiting Nokia Online US where the device is on show and will cost American Nokia fans a cool $549 to get their hands on the latest device out of the Nokia camp.

The Nokia N8 has been kind of marred by bad news in the past especially when Nokia sent the Russian cops after Eldar Murtazin to get a supposed Nokia N8 prototype back; however once the Nokia N8 is available we’ll no doubt see what reviews it brings in.

Spec wise the Nokia N8 offers a 3.5 inch capacitive multi-touch AMOLED touch screen, 12 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, auto-focus and Xenon flash, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, Symbina ^3 operating system, 16GB internal storage, microSD expansion up to 32GB and a 3.5mm jack.

I want it to be good but I'm not sure. I hope they have sorted the clunky web browser or better still just install Opera if it's available for symbian 3.
