Android 2.2 Froyo Droid X Leak, Will you try it?

Owners of the Motorola Droid X have been waiting for Verizon to push out an over the air update of Android 2.2 Froyo to the Droid X, but if you are tired of waiting for that official release you can now grab a leaked version of the OS.

According to an article over on the Boy Genius Report, they have grabbed the Android 2.2 leaked OS which comes over the air in a zip format and put it on one of their Droid X devices and say they are impressed, and have made a video of Android 2.2 running on the Droid X which you can view below.

The Android 2.2 Froyo leak for the Motorola Droid X full instructions on how to grab it are available by hitting up My Droid World and are apparently available in rooted and non-rooted versions.

According to the BGR there are some nice visuals and the device seems somewhat snappier and given the polish of this leaked upgrade they feel the official version should be just around the corner. So check out the video below, and let us know if you try out the leak and if so how you get on.
