JailbreakMe Site Now Unblocked by 3 UK

A little while ago it was reported that 3 UK blocked jailbreakMe.com thus halting any attempt by 3 UK iPhone users to jailbreak their iPhone handset, you can read our report on that by hitting up (here.)

However, now according to an article over on The Inquirer, by Rob Coppinger, it seems 3 UK has informed the Inquirer as to why jailbreakMe.com was blocked, stating… “The site had been caught by our internet filters that had categorized it as a security risk. [T]his has now been fixed.”

So “This has now been fixed,” should mean that 3 UK has now unblocked jailbreakMe, so 3 UK iPhone users should now be able to use jailbreakMe 2.0 to perform a jailbreak of their iPhone if so desired.

JailbreakMe 2.0 only works with iPhone units running iOS 4.0.1, but apparently hackers have already come up with a way around iOS 4.0.2 for some Apple gear.
