If you just can’t wait for the real deal Droid 2 R2-D2 special edition smartphone to hit sometime this month, you can apparently grab the next best thing, being Star Wars themed live wallpapers and boot animation, of which we have a couple of videos below for your consideration.

The Star Wars boot animation and live wallpapers videos comes our way courtesy of Donald Melanson over at Engadget, with both videos lasting a combined 1 minute, 16 seconds of Star Wars goodness.

Apparently the boot animation and live wallpapers have been extracted from a recently leaked ROM and are available for download from Android Police (wallpapers) and Droid-life (boot animation).

They include an interactive R2-D2, the space slug, and the Mullennium Falcon flying through an asteroid field, so all you need to do now is check out the videos below and then go get em…enjoy.
