Samsung Galaxy S To Hit Chinese Market on Three Carriers

It looks like old Sammy wants their Samsung Galaxy S smartphones just about everywhere in the world, and has now apparently extended their Samsung Galaxy S range into the billion wireless customer market of China.

According to an article over on Engadget Mobile by Chris Ziegler, Samsung has now manufactured HSPA, EV-DO and TD-SCDMA models of their Android packing Samsung Galaxy S handset for use on the China Unicom network, China Mobile network and China Telecom network.

Each and every one still packing that 4 inch Super AMOLED display, and word has it China Telecom will be the first to launch the device sometime this month, while China Mobile and China Unicom will be available before the year’s out.

At the rate Sammy is going with the rollout of their Samsung galaxy S range of smartphones it could be soon catching up with Apple’s iPhone 4 in the popularity stakes, although I could be a tad biased considering I use a Samsung Galaxy S.
