HTC Desire Z Heading for Europe and Asia Next Month

HTC has just finished their presentation at their HTC unveiling event in London UK where they unveiled a new HTC Sense, the HTC Desire HD and the HTC Desire Z smartphones. Oh and apparently the event was held right next door to Nokia World 2010.

According to Stefan Constantinescu of Intomobile, if you think the HTC Desire Z looks familiar its because it is, it is the T-Mobile G2 only this particular version is destined for Asia and Europe and packs the new HTC Sense which was also announced.

Basically the Desire Z is the T-Mobile G2 minus the T-Mobile logo so will pack such gear as a Qualcomm 7230 800MHz processor, an 8 megapixel camera with flash and 720p video recording, 802.11n WiFi, 14.4 Mbps HSPA+, 3.7 inch display and Android 2.2, but other than that we’ll have to wait for the official spec sheet.

HTC hasn’t mentioned any pricing for the HTC Desire Z, but they did announce the device will be released sometime next month so we’ll let you know as soon as we hear the official release date.
