Apple iOS 4.2 Beta Heads for Developers

Hasn’t iOS 4.1 only just been released? Even so it appears that doesn’t slow down Apple from moving on and releasing iOS 4.2 beta to iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad developers, so as long as you’re a member of Apple’s developer program you should be able to grab it as of right now.

According to an article over on Engadget by Joshua Topolsky, Apple has also named their new printing experience and has dubbed it “AirPrint and apparently people who use HP products with ePrint technology will be the first to be able to use AirPrint.

According to Apple’s press release, AirPrint will work with the iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, 2nd gen or later iPod Touch and the iPad and that “iPad, iPhone and iPod touch users can simply tap to print their documents or photos wirelessly to an HP ePrint printer or to a printer shared on a Mac or PC.”

All that aside, the big news here is the release of iOS 4.2 beta to Apple developers, so no doubt before too long we’ll be getting some insight as to just what iOS 4.2 will deliver; more as and when we hear.
