White iPhone 4 Christmas Release a Possibility?

Many are still waiting on news when Apple will actually release the white iPhone 4 to the masses; well it seems that there may be a possibility that the white iPhone 4 will make an appearance before Christmas 2010.

According to an article over on Mobilesdna by Jenny Lewis, an Apple fan emailed Apple boss Steve Jobs inquiring as to when the white iPhone 4 would become available as Apple have been saying it will be available later this year.

Apparently a student named Nathan sent this email to Steve Jobs… “Hello Steve, My name is Nathan, I’m a high school student from San Bernardino. I also happen to be one of your biggest fan and a total Apple fanboy and proud to be I’ve been saving up money to buy the new iphone 4. I want the white one but Apple said it won’t be available until later this year. I know you must be asked this question hundreds of times a day but do you think we can expect to get the white iphone for xmas?

I hope you can answer. Thank you Steve.”

Now Jobs is known for sending out short replies to email enquiries on occasion and apparently the Apple chief replied this time with…“Christmas is later this year.”

So does this reply from Steve Jobs mean Apple is looking at releasing the white iPhone 4 in time for the festive season? Maybe, as I’m sure it would sell well, that is of course if the email is real. So what do our readers think, will Apple push out the white version of the iPhone 4 in time for Christmas?

I think that the white iPhone 4 is already late enough as it is and a Christmas release is way too late for those of us who have been waiting since June. Might as well get a black one once and for all if a Christmas release is confirmed. Such a waste of time waiting for this model, it's very disappointing !

  2. I'm considering a move back to a BlackBerry or a jump to Android with all of these delays. The constant setbacks are staring to be too much and I may switch platforms. The uncertainty certainly isn't helping the situation; I shouldn't have to keep googling the issue every few weeks.
