Can Greenpois0n, Jailbreak iOS 4.1? Release Date Rumour

Looking back on our articles covering greenpois0n, which is the new upcoming jailbreak for iOS 4.1 we have come across some information that might get tongues wagging.

A couple of our readers have just posted comments that we have found to be very interesting indeed, the first one says that the greenpois0n jailbreak update release date has been confirmed to be 27th September, we would love to know if this is true or false because we have heard nothing in the way of dates (Thanks to our reader though).

Another comment that was posted says that Chronic Dev has declared that so far the iOS 4.1 is unjailbreakable and will be in a long future, apparently the software is unable to jailkreak anything but the iPod Touch.

If anyone can answer the above comments posted we would be grateful, what do you think? Please read our other articles on greenpois0n:

There is a jailbreak out under the name of greenpois0n that can ONLY jailbreak the ipod touch. I only found the file on a megaupload site though. It does exist. The dev team claims to be working on the jailbreak for other devices in addition to SHAtter which is a permanent jailbreak

Just visit their blog, it's not incredibly detailed but it does confirm that all devices can be jailbroken with the exploit that Greenpoisi0n uses. There are going to be a lot of theories thrown out there until the release(which I can't say when it will be, unfortunately I think the 27th is too optimistic) so don't believe everything you read!

No it carnt just jailbreak the touch coz that would just be bull. I’ve got an iPhone 3G and I swear I’ve already read that it will jailbreak everything. But they are just timers right?

I think Apple in disguise is try to mess with us. I think hopefully buy the middle of October there be realse of . if they haven’t had no problem jailbreaking iPhones for the past 3 years except 3.1.3. Good thing they done iOS 4 already. And were not stuck. You shouldn’t listen to people only from the horses mouth.

Just give it time. It will be released when it’s ready. Not that most of you will know what the exploit is but here it is. The exploit is real.

    “When will people be satisfied?”
