iPhone 4 May Not Have FaceTime in Middle East

Probably one of the big attractions of the iPhone 4 is FaceTime, however it is beginning to look like the iPhone 4 Middle East version will not support FaceTime as apparently website graphics for numerous Middle Eastern countries don’t show the FaceTime graphic.

According to an article over on TiPb by Rene Ritchie and by way of TUAW, it is possibly that the adjustments to the product websites is just cosmetic, or could mean that FaceTime is blocked on the iPhone 4 in these countries.

TAUW says that one should note that it isn’t just the image that has been removed but the current versions of the iPhone 4 pages also happen to omit any description referring to the FaceTime feature.

So the question is has these Middle East countries demanded that FaceTime be blocked on their version of the iPhone 4, and if so will the loss of FaceTime push potential Middle East customers to opt for an unlocked iPhone 4?
