When will Greenpois0n release? This seems to be the main question of late, we are getting mass amount of emails asking this question and to be honest we do not know.
Greenpois0n the next massive jailbreak download for iPhone OS 4.1 is a very hot topic and we will give you a quick recap surrounding it, we would like this to be the place for you to come to submit all questions and of course any answers you have, we call it the discussion corner just for you.
OK so what do we know so far? Well some are saying that Greenpois0n will release September 27 (Apparently this date has been confirmed according to one of our readers), which leaves a few of our readers saying this date is a little optimistic, other discussions say that it is not possible to make it run on iOS 4.1. Some are saying that this new release will be October sometime, we also heard that Chronic Dev Team declared that so far iOS 4.1 is unjailbreakable and will be in a long future and the greenpois0n software is unable to jailbreak anything but ipod touch (All Hear Say, we will wait for confirmation on this).
We also know that pod2g has left the Chronic Dev Team and is now working independently, love for pod2g to email us and give us the real reason why he left, he did say I’m an exploit maker, not a jailbreak tool developer. SHAtter is my 3rd bootrom exploit (24Kpwn was a team effort tho)”.

Maybe Chronic Dev Team is waiting for the upcoming 4.2 to publish their new jailbreak. Otherwise it could be too easy for Apple to close another weak spot in their hard/software?????
Yes!!! but if the team is waiting for the 4.2 coming… don't you think it will be good for us to know so we stop wondering like zombies? every body is different than others, and I bet you more than one is already disappointed, they have been claiming to have the exploit for the A4 bootrom, this kind of exploit CAN'T BE PATCHED BY THE MANUFACTURE until a new software revision, So what is for apple to find? is the same history of the (( 24Kpwn )) because it is going to be fixed in a software UPGRADE.
THAT BEEN SAID…. they are just playing with our brains saying, o we are testing over here, changing over there…. but the real truth!!! is exploit are very easy to use, and they are called exploits because is a weakness, I am a software security consultant, and what I do is exactly the same as the but for another kind of applications mostly FINANCIAL INSTITUTION, so I can tell you that if there is a jailbreak aka (EXPLOIT BEEN USED IN A SMALL SERIES OF STEPS) then it doesn't take 4 weeks to create the tool like they call IT… give me the key, just the location…. that's all I need!

I bought my Iphone 4 a day after the jailbreakme hack was patched by the 4.0.2 firmware. Ive always had my ipod touches jailbroken and when i finally bought the iphone 4 i quickly learned that i couldnt jailbreak it! its been a good month now and i HATE not having a jailbroken iphone! is there any other specific information you can give me as far as a release date or maybe even what programs are best to consider when they do get released?

I don't understand why chronic dev team don't take two minutes and clear things up,ok maybe not a date but the fact that the iOS 4.1 CAN be jailbroken on the iPhone 4,we all understand that it must be hard work trying to do what they do but when they dont respond much to peoples questions it makes you wonder,just a quick DECENT update would be very grateful,not taking nothing from you guys but it's been awhile since a decent update from yourselfs was posted
I don’t know when it will be released, just like every other user.. Nobody knows. I just hope it’s sooner rather than later! Everyone is always grateful of the teams work.

Whilst the Hearsay and speculation continues. You have to appreciate that this takes time and it is obviously getting tougher to find the holes made in iOS and then exploit them.
I would like to have a good jailbreak and wait for a while than have something like redsnow that works sometimes.
Keep up the food work guys and just drop a small note on here daily please to keep the impatient at bay.

if they release it before 4.2 comes out they will have to do the work all over again as apple will find a patch and release it in 4.2 and we are back to this same point again. I strongly suspect that the jailbreak will be released just as 4.2 hits the market
I dont think the fact of them doing it before or after 4.2 matters. If they release it before hand and apple does patch it then DONT UPGRADE. It seems pretty simple to me. If they release it afterwards then more power to em.
I wish they would just release this jailbreak already. Like Davis said, I just want a solution. I don't mind paying $30 for this jailbreak. I just want to use my damn IPHONE 4 on TMOBILE.

I don’t think they found the “exploit”. Because if they did then it would have been hear all ready. I say give it matrix so we can get some results instead of “we’re working hard” or “we’re making progress” crap every week
If you don’t want to wait for the jailbreak just downgrade your iOS that’s what I did and it works fine
It has been confirmed That IOS 4.1 can be jailbroken we did however notice the jailbreak is saying to arrive “September 27”, we have not confirmed that. rite wel cant sum1 giv matrix the xploit am dum as shit n avnt a clue but is e tellin the truth e says is english is bad????? but every1 has read his post n i can unstand it lol no offence so lets put is money where is mouth is n giv it a shot iv got an iphone 4 4.0.2 i was on 4.0.1 but me bein a dum shit upgraded without a thought so am fukd for now hope the dev team du realese it soon n they could shed better light on ow things r goin instead ov giving riddles so to speak no punt to dev team jus wish they would make things a little mor things clear lol so keep up the good werk and all the best
