Droid X Froyo Issues Fixed with Factory Reset?

If you are a Droid X owner you probably know all about the issues the Droid X has been seeing since being updated to Android 2.2 Froyo, and if you are just about at your wits end with the issues then there may well be an answer.

According to an article over on Android Central by Jerry Hildenbrand, one of their forum members going by the name of Fabrian was also at their wits end over the issues with the Android 2.2 Froyo update and got to the stage whereby they were even going to give up on their Motorola Droid X.

However, before resigning the Droid X to the bin Fabrian tried something as a last resort, and it appears to have worked. What he did was he completely disabled the Android 2.2 Froyo feature which restores data from previous installs.

Apparently all that’s required is to turn off the auto-restore feature before logging into your Google account. Word has it the process isn’t that difficult and does need one more factory reset. So if you want to follow Fabrian’s instruction you can do so by visiting Here…good luck.

  1. Thank god there is an answer because I have been getting so frustrated with my stupid droid phone and I would have given up on it a while ago but my wife gave it to me and was so excited. Thanks for the answer to my problems!
