Palm to Deliver 2 New Smartphones?

Not a great deal has really been heard about Palm and any future smartphones coming from the once mobile arena giant since they were acquired by HP some time ago, but it appears things are beginning to trickle though the net waves.

According to an article over on Gizmodo by Kat Hannaford, TUV Rheinland, who first noticed the Palm Pre Plus and Palm Pixi Plus handsets appear to have listed on their certification website 2 model numbers which are P102UNA and P102EWW and also an inductive battery charger.

Apparently this could mean that two new Palm devices along with a new Touchstone device could well make an appearance sometime in the not too distant future, and since it’s been roughly 2 years since the Palm Pre made its debut it’s about time.

So what do you think would two new WebOS smartphones out of Palm/HP do well in today’s smartphone space, or do you believe that Palm has had its day and should finally be laid to rest once and for all?
