Android Gains Updated Version of Fennec

If you own an Android device and were all excited about Mozilla’s Fennec for Android you may have been somewhat disappointed with its first outing as not many had positive views on it and it appeared the only thing the app was good for was force closing.

However, according to an article on Intomobile by Blake Stimac and by way of Droid-life, a new updated Fennec is now available for Android and apparently works quite well and is faster and also prompts the user when updates are released.

According to Stimac this updated Fennec is the first version that doesn’t take three minutes to initially load however the first page he visited froze halfway and although Fennec didn’t force close it may as well have.

However, he does say that Fennec for Android runs as it should and delivers a fairly decent experience, along with multi-touch working well and the quick access panels are cool and Fennec for Android also enables the user to sync their open browser tabs and bookmarks to their desktop Firefox browser.
