Foursquare for Symbian smartphones is much like using social networking app Twitter for constantly updating your contacts but with a difference as it updates your whereabouts, and we have a couple of video demonstrations for your viewing pleasure below.

The videos come our way courtesy of Jay Montano over at My Nokia Blog, and shows Foursquare running on the latest flagship smartphone from the Nokia camp, the Nokia N8 with the first video demo lasting just over three minutes and the second a minute and a half.

Apparently when using the Foursquare application on your smartphone you can also win badges and mayorships whatever point they are, badge of honours I guess, you’ll also get tips from what other users have left.
