O2 HTC Desire Android 2.2 New Update Available: Failures & Success
O2 released and then pulled the new HTC Desire Android 2.2 aka FroYo update not so long ago but now have decided to make it available once again.
For a second time O2 has released the new update, the first time round many complaints came in about handsets freezing up leaving customer slightly unhappy to say the least.
Hopefully this time round the new update is up to scratch, EuroDroid has posted a link to the O2 forum where you can see many users reporting failures and success after applying the update, time for our readers to report to us know with this new O2 HTC Desire Android 2.2 update.
As usual we always ask you to backup your HTC Desire before downloading new updates, better still wait for other to download then wait for the reviews and then decide if you want the new update.

My Froyo update on my o2 HTC Desire has also failed miserably. On start up the phone fails to get past the o2 splash screen. Wonderful.
This is a vendor that releases their 2.2. update later than others. Then when it realises how bad the quality is pulls the update. Then after taking 3 weeks out to fix the problems, releases again and still its broken.
How bad can they get.
