O2 Now Sells Mobile Phones at Sainsbury’s

Supermarkets attract loads of customers for their everyday purchases so it appears that O2 UK has taken advantage of that by opening their first supermarket concession with Sainsbury’s, a supermarket chain which has never before held a mobile concession.

According to an article over on Mobile Today, the first Sainsbury’s store to open an O2 concession is the store in Crayford near Dartford and opened the concession today in the biggest store on the estate.

The Sainsbury’s concession will offer numerous O2 products which will include O2 home phone, O2 home broadband and of course the iPhone. O2 says it will still be able to deliver to the customer the same ‘knowledgeable, hands-on and efficient’ service.

Sainsbury’s rival Tesco has been pushing out phone shops since back in 2008 while Asda struck a deal with Orange UK last October however is set to launch their own chain of mobile phone stores.
