There is of course a Motorola Cliq smartphone so the natural progression would be the Motorola Cliq 2, and we have some news on the Motorola Cliq 2 which is apparently codenamed Begonia and destined for the T-Mobile airwaves.

Chris Ziegler over at Engadget Mobile has found out a few specifications of the upcoming T-Mobile Motorola Cliq 2 and although they don’t know a great deal this is what they have found out…

The Motorola Cliq 2/Begonia will sport an “interesting” keyboard design which has been described as “one solid piece,” without gaps, Android 2.2 operating system, with Motorola’s Blur, WiFi calling, and something the T-Mobile G2 won’t have on launch, 3G hotspot support.

Other than that not a lot is known at this stage except the word is the Motorola Cliq 2 or Begonia if you prefer, has been earmarked for a launch with T-Mobile on the 1st of November.
