Greenpois0n & SHAtter iOS 4.1 Jailbreak Release Delay: One Cause

Everyone is still waiting for the Greenpois0n jailbreak for iOS release date but there are delays, but we say, “be patient it will be worth it”. What is the reason for the delay though? Most are asking.

We said a little earlier that the Greenpois0n jailbreak is nearly ready but we have found a little more information via Mobiles DNA that is quite interest, it gives us one cause for the delay.

MuscleNerd from Dev Team has done a little twittering and said that they are working on a new PT to preserve the baseband while updating to firmware, this is so that you can unlock the Apple iPhone using Ultrasn0w after jailbreaking, could this be one of the reasons for the release delay?

Does this also mean that the greenpois0n jailbreaking tool can preserve baseband with jailbreaking iOS 4.1 on the side?

Are you getting a little frustrated with the wait? Well personally we say be a little patient as it is better to have the jailbreak with no problems rather than a quick release with many problems.

We will keep you up-to-date with all the news surrounding Greenpois0n, official site here.

I really hope that’s not the reason. I kept my baseband by changing my server to cydia’s server & upgrading in iTunes. After I upgrade I used umbrella to kick out of boot mode. Now running on 4.1 with 1.59.00. Simple 🙂

I don't mind waiting for the jailbreak to gain the bonus baseband preservation. These guys are doing a great job, and I really appreciate their hard all their work.
