TDK Transparent QVGA OLED Displays Captured on Video

We have a couple of videos for your perusal today that deals with transparent displays, similar to that first seen on the Sony Ericsson XPERIA Pureness if you remember, but in monochrome. Apparently though TDK has come up with a solution with their new transparent QVGA OLED displays.

The two videos come our way courtesy of Chris Ziegler over at Engadget and shows that TDK can now manufacture monochrome see-through OLED displays and apparently colour versions by the years end.

Size wise they are two inches delivering 200poi pixel density and are apparently quite secure; light shines only in one direction thus no data can be seen from the rear even though your can still see through the display.

There’s also a video which takes a look at TDK’s 3.2 inch flexible OLED displays although they aren’t transparent but no doubt will come in handing for gadgets in future. So hit up the two videos below and check out some OLED goodness…enjoy.
