Root Most Android Smartphones Including Froyo by SuperOneClick: Video

Apparently there a new super-root method that’s hit the net called SuperOneClick that can just about root any Android device out there in smartphone space, including those running Android 2.2 Froyo.

According to an article over on Gizmodo by Brian Barrett and by way of the guys over at XDA-developers, there still isn’t a complete list of Android devices SuperOneClick can root but apparently to start off it will root the Samsung Captivate, Motorola Droid and Nexus One.

Apparently SuperOneClick also enables the user to side load applications onto handsets such as the HTC Aria and as you probably know AT&T placed a restriction on doing that, but not with SuperOneClick.

Word is though SuperOneClick is currently only for Windows, but should be pushed over to Linux and Mac in the not too distant future. However caution is required when opting to use SuperOneClick to root your Android smartphone as it doesn’t carry an unroot button as yet.

So looks like rooting your Android based handset has just become a whole lot easier, and there’s even a video that shows how it all work which you can view below, so enjoy and get rooting.
