BlackBerry Bold 9780 for T-Mobile UK Gets Priced

For all you BlackBerry lovers here in the United Kingdom you may be able to grab the BlackBerry Bold 9780 smartphone, the successor to the BlackBerry Bold 9700 in time for Christmas from none other than T-Mobile UK.

According to an article over on the Boy Genius Report by Thomas Joseph, and by way of Electric Pig, T-Mobile UK has apparently revealed their pricing for the BlackBerry Bold 9780 handset which may become available before Xmas.

Apparently T-Mobile UK will be offering the BlackBerry Bold 9780 as a free handset; yep that’s £0 when signing your life away for two years on contract at 30 quid a month, although there’s no word on any tariffs available just yet.

T-Mobile is the first to let out pricing on the BlackBerry Bold 9780 as Orange UK, 3 UK and O2 UK still remain silent when it comes to what they will be asking for the Research In Motion smartphone, but no doubt most will out their prices before the festive season.

So are any of our readers looking to purchase the new BlackBerry Bold 9780 when it hits store shelves on any UK carrier, if so feel free to let us know by posting us a comment.

I don't think this particular handset will be available on pay as you go. They have the curve on pay as you go but the current bold 9700 is still only available on monthly contracts so the upgrade to that handset seems very unlikely.
But you could get it off some were like play.com sim free I'm guessing for about £400 plus 🙂

really torn against the 9780 and the current torch. the use of touch screen and qwerty on the same device is apealing but not sure on the overall design. the 9780 the traditional blackberry look, dont know a lot about but one of the reasons for looking at getting a blackberry is the design and acesss to internet and emails etc, but am i getting caught up in the attractiveness of having dual function??

is the video quality going to be any better for playing mp3 music videos on either of the devices. what is different about the 9780 to the torch??
