Samsung Omnia 7 Windows Phone Reviewed In-depth

Another Microsoft Windows Phone 7 device has been in receipt of an in-depth review along with a couple of videos, this time round is it the Samsung Omnia 7 smartphone that gains all the attention, and one of the videos can be viewed below.

The in-depth review of the Samsung Omnia 7 Windows Phone 7 device has been done by Richard Lai over at Engadget and I’ll briefly outline the review here and is you wish to read it in its entirety you can do so by hitting up their website.

As usual the review begins with the Samsung Omnia 7 hardware, which Lai says is pretty much a “WP7 reincarnation” of the Samsung Galaxy S as the Omnia 7 is much the same as the Galaxy S like a 4 inch Super AMOLED touch screen, 1GHz processor, 1500mAh battery, same layout, but the Samsung Omnia 7 does have two distinct differences.

The first difference is in the housing, the Galaxy S has a plastic housing while the Omnia 7 sports a metal housing, and secondly the Omnia 7 has 8GB of storage but no expansion slot while the Galaxy S can be upped to 32GB.

Lai then covers such things as Samsung Omnia 7 unique applications, and the camera, and of course they throw in a couple of videos for your viewing pleasure and as I said previous we have one of those which can be watch below.

Lai finishes by saying that the Samsung Omnia 7 Windows Phone 7 device has got all the right hardware to make it qualify as a “brilliant multimedia device” by today’s standards. So check out the video below and if you happen to purchase the Samsung Omnia 7 feel free to let us know if you agree with the review.
