Looks like the great white space of Canada will be getting their fill of new smartphones in the not too distant future. We have already reporting that Canada will gain the Nokia N8 on Rogers (here), and that Rogers will also offer the Samsung Captivate (here).

Now according to an article over on Mobile Syrup by Ian Hardy, Canada will be gaining the Samsung Galaxy S Fascinate on the Telus network, with the device being shown as “coming soon.”

For those that may have forgotten, the Samsung Fascinate offers the user a 4 inch Super AMOLED touch screen, a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and video functionality, WiFi, a 1GHz processor and of course the Android 2.1 operating system.

Unfortunately though at the current time there’s no word on what price Telus will be asking for the Samsung Fascinate. So anyone hoping to grab the Samsung Galaxy S class device on Telus once it becomes available?
