CDMA Windows Phone 7 Device with FCC?

Although Microsoft did say that a CDMA Windows Phone 7 smartphone wouldn’t come until the first half of 2011 it appears that it might be coming a little early as an FCC file reveals a CDMA WP7 device has just gained approval.

According to an article over on Engadget by Chris Ziegler they’ve been doing their FCC snooping thing and it comes out that this Windows Phone 7 is production hardware with CDMA, which means there is a production ready CDMA WP7 handset waiting in the wings.

So with this being a Windows Phone 7 CDMA device it probably means we are looking at the only CDMA Windows Phone 7 device to make an appearance so far which is the HTC 7 Pro with its tilt and slide mech.

Other notable stuff with the filing includes Bluetooth +EDR and 802.11b/g/n WiFi, so maybe the HTC 7 Pro could be making its way towards the Sprint network in the not too distant future, although that is purely guesswork.
