iPhone 4 Password Security Unlock Warning: Stops Incoming Calls

Yesterday we reported a new security flaw within iPhone iOS 4.1 password security unlock, well now we have some more news for you that can stop incoming calls if you try this unlock.

Your iPhone is on the password unlock screen and we mentioned that you do NOT need the password to access the iPhone’s contacts app, to do this all you need to do is tap the emergency call then type in ###, then hit the Call button and immediately hit the Lock button, well we say DO NOT do this.

We tried it yesterday and today many of our contacts have tried calling us but cannot get through, they end up leaving me a text message saying please call me, we can call them but they cannot call us.

Is this problem something to do with the password unlock security flaw? If you have tried this unlock please let us know if you are experiencing any problems at all, we and of course other readers need to know.

Yes mine does the same. Blocks incoming calls. I had to switch the iPhone off then back on and enter my password details to get the incoming call to start working again.

No probs here, but needed to hold down lock button (to get switch off option) then hit cancel to get access back to apps etc beyond the call screen.
