Research In Motion’s BlackBerry Torch 9800 smartphone hasn’t really done as well as expected since its launch so maybe the addition of a couple of extra colours to the BlackBerry Torch may incite more interest, well that’s probably what RIM is hoping anyway.

According to an article over on Engadget by Vlad Savov, Research In Motion has now pushed out two new coloured version of the BlackBerry Torch 9800, a Sunset Red version along with a Pure White version and are of course available via AT&T.

Now whether giving the BlackBerry Torch 9800 a paint job will be enough to get people more interested is another thing as basically nothing else has changed with the handset.

Both the new Red and White versions of the BlackBerry Torch will set you back the same as the Charcoal version which is $99.99 on a 2year agreement or $499.99 without agreement.
