Verizon Gains Windows Phone 7 HTC Trophy Early Next Year

So what Windows Phone 7 device is going to be on the Verizon network and when? Well it appears that the Big Red will eventually be gaining a Windows Phone 7 handset but not until early next year.

According to an article over on Engadget by Chris Ziegler, they have in their possession a pamphlet which shows that the HTC Trophy Windows Phone 7 smartphone will be retooled to run on Verizon’s CDMA network. The brochure is apparently being circulated by Verizon to Microsoft employees.

The Verizon brochure shows that the HTC Trophy will available to purchase “early 2011,” and has a price tag of $199.99 on renewal of contract and comes with a free car charger and leather case.

Furthermore the Windows Phone 7 HTC Trophy is being touted as a “quad-band global phone,” which means of course the user will be able to roam on GSM whenever they exit the states, something Verizon Wireless seems to be quite hot on these days.
