Google sent out a notification and within a few hours the big Market maintenance was updated, there are now new options within the Android Market App Publishing Interface that includes feature graphics, high-res app icon and promo videos.

The updated Market is probably going to come with Gingerbread as well we might suspect, below you can see all the new features and great options available to developers publishing their apps.

New features Include: High Resolution Application Icon — 512w x 512h, 24 bit PNG or JPEG (no alpha). This seems to be a required field now, Feature Graphic — 1024w x 500h, 24 bit PNG or JPEG (no alpha), will be downsized to mini or micro and Promotional Video – Enter YouTube URL.
