HP Palm WebOS Next Generation Enyo First Look Video

With webOS 2.0 we have seen the new Palm Pre 2 but it still looks much the same as other Palm devices, but apparently early next year we will be seeing a few “really interesting form factors,” coming from HP that will include mobile phones and tablets.

According to an article over on Engadget by Sean Hollister, the guys over at Pre Central HP and Palm have new software on the horizon, which they have named Enyo, which is a Javascript application framework that will deliver faster app loading and native hardware acceleration.

Earlier last week Scott Miles of HP demonstrated Enyo using a small single pane email app in Chrome and then maximised it to show a 3 pane landscape layout which could be used on tablets although reps have said it is proof of concept but Enyo is staying.

And we have a video demo of Hp’s Enyo for your viewing pleasure below which does go on at bit at almost 26 minutes but you can skip right to the Enyo demo at about the 16 minute mark, so hit it up, check the demo out. Do you think we could see bigger smartphones coming from Palm/HP sporting Enyo, let us know what you think…enjoy.
