Update went smooth. Looks to be faster than eclairs. Happy with the upgrade. took almost 1 hr end to end via kies (kies installed an upgrade on itself too – did that before upgrading to froyo). Awesome!!!

Upgraded my SGS to andriod 2.2 (froyo) today. Process was smooth. Facebook app malfunctioned. I uninstalled it and downloaded it afresh from andriod mkt. It works now. There was also problem with Notification. Fixed by restarting. Otherwise noticeable enhancement in performance.

Froyo installed yesterday. Noticeable improvement in graphics and some of the applications open faster. But the phone still has lag issues (takes up to 30 seconds to respond to key-presses) sometimes and I was expecting Google Navigation with voice. Not happening. Anybody had better luck?
