Samsung Galaxy Tab on Verizon Price Drop

It appears that those in command over at Verizon Wireless seem to think that their asking price for the Android packing Samsung Galaxy Tab was a little steep, so in order to rectify that, the Big Red has actually lowered the asking price of the Samsung Galaxy Tab.

According to an article over on Android Central by Chris Parsons, and by way of Droid-life, not only have Verizon dropped the price of the Samsung Galaxy Tab from $599.99 down to $499.99 slicing a hundred bucks off, Verizon is also apparently saying anyone who purchased the Samsung Galaxy tab from them in the last 14 days will get $100 refund.

Furthermore, if you now purchase a Verizon Samsung Galaxy Tab for $499.99 you’ll also receive a bonus of $60 worth of free movie rentals via either the media Hub or the Blockbuster application to sweeten the deal.

So does this new lower price for the Samsung Galaxy Tab on Verizon along with that $60 bonus make you want to go out and grab the device from the Big Red?
