The Future of the mobile space is going to be dominated by 4G toting smartphones, and it would appear that Android is leading the way when it comes to 4G enabled devices with one hittng AT&T and another hitting Verizon in the not too distant future.

There’s the Motorola Atirx 4G, for AT&T, an Android 2.2 Froyo handset with a 4inch qHD display, NIVDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor, 5 megapixel auto-focus camera with LED flash, 720p video, front facing camera, 16GB storage, microSD expansion up to 32GB, A-GPS, mobile hotspot, Bluetooth, HDMI, DNLA, Facebook Twitter and MySpace apps and a 3.5mm jack.

The Motorola Droid Bionic 4G for Verizon is also an Android 2.2 Froyo handset with NVIDIA 1GHz dual core processor, 4.3 inch qHD display, 8 megapixel camera with dual-lED flash, front facing VGA camera, 720p video recording,1080p output, 512MB RAM, HTML5, Adobe Flash Player, HDMI, GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi, 3D graphics processor, 3.5mm jack.

But the big quiestion we are asking today is whether you prefer the Motorola Atrix 4G to the Droid Bionic, and whether you’d prefer AT&T 4G to Verizon 4G. So we’d love you to vote in our user poll which you can do so by heading down below.

Both of these phones are quite impressive with their 4G prowess and feature set. I believe the more impressive handset is the Motorola Atrix due to the 1GB of ram setting it apart. Not to mention that it's actually a sexier looking phone. However, because it's on AT&T's network, the obvious choice would be the Droid Bionic. Let's face it, people just want a phone that works and works well with their native network and Verizon seems to be the more logical choice. The only thing that I don't like about the Bionic is despite it and the Atrix being virtually the same phone, it only comes with 512 MB of RAM, to the Atrix's 1 GB. That aside they seem to share the same DNA. Also, many people seem to be disgruntled about the fact that the Atrix is being demo'd with a laptop shell and not the Bionic. I'd be willing to bet that it, TOO, could pull off the same feat. My reasoning? Notice how they both have the mini USB and HDMI port in the same location.

For the Verizon network, the 1080p video and 8mp camera I will go with the Bionic, but I will wish it had the 1 GB RAM, the docking and the fingerprint scanner.

also keep in mind the data speeds will be 4g/Lte…not at&t's hspa+.

Did anyone point out also to the host of the you tube video that the device he reported as slow was being powered by wi-fi? The icon on the top tight corner?
    Dumbass.

He was referring to the phone opening up the "Manage Application" which has nothing to do with "Networks". This Poll should really be based on Phones and not Network
