Quick news to let all know that BlackBerry App World 2.1 update is now live that now features SDK BlackBerry Payment Service.

This new service will roll out over the next 24 hours and we want to hear from you once you get it, one of the main features allows BlackBerry App World users to download and install apps that offer in-app payments via the BlackBerry Payment Service.

To keep it short and sweet that means some games for example may offer at an extra cost more levels, there may be at times that some content providers may offer virtual or digital goods.

The SDK has been updated as of today (Feb. 2, 2011), the new Payment Service offers ease of use for developers to monitor their own BlackBerry applications and find commercial success, you can read more about that here.
