Android Honeycomb Lands at Google HQ: Video

Under: Google Android, Phone Software
Date: March 1st, 2011

If you are of the Android faithful then you probably know that the Google guys are in the habit of erecting large statues denoting their latest operating systems on the lawn of Google headquarters, well the latest in the line of OS statues has now landed.

Of course the placing of the Android Honeycomb statue was captured on video, which we have for Android fans viewing pleasure below courtesy of the guys over at Phandroid and by way of Android Central and Google’s Dan Morrill.

The Android Honeycomb statue represents of course Google’s first tablet specific operating system Android 3.0 Honeycomb and joins the likes of previous operating system statues Cupcake, Éclair, Donut, Froyo and Gingerbread along with of course the Android bot.

The latest statue has a honeycomb with a honeybee facing off the Android robot and actually looks kind of cool, so jump on down, mash that play button and check out the arrival of Android Honeycomb…enjoy.
