Verizon HTC Incredible S Gets Pictured

The world of mobile technology isn’t just about when the HTC Thunderbolt is going to release on Verizon, the Big Red is expecting other smartphones from the HTC camp as well and one such device is the HTC Incredible S.

And today a few pictures of the Verizon bound HTC Incredible S have made their way onto the net, and we have those images for your consideration courtesy of the guys over at Ubergizmo and by way of Android Spin.

The Android 2.2 Froyo packing HTC Incredible S was showcased during MWC 2011 and given a release scheduled for Q2, and will be upgradeable to Android 2.3 Gingerbread on launch.

Spec wise the HTC Incredible S offers a 4-inch WVGA (qHD) Super LCD display, an 8 megapixel rear camera with flash, a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera, 1GHz processor, and 4GB internal storage.

So is anyone hoping to bypass the HTC Thunderbolt and opt to grab the HTC Incredible S once the device becomes available?

This phone seems pretty cool. If anyone thinks the Thunderbolt is too big and can survive without a kickstand, this phone looks like a good alternative. Can't beat dual cameras and android, right?

This is a great Phone, I have just yesterday changed from an Iphone 3GS. It is very fast the email is good and I love the camera. The HD video looks fantastic. Importantly the phone is very easy to set up your email account, facebook ect are a doddle. It is light and nice to hold, not slippery at all. The apps are just the same as on my iphone but there are 92,000 to choose from. The 2.2 version of Android is fine and we have the new Gingerbread update coming soon.
    Very happy to date.

As above I have just changed from Iphone 3gs to Incredible S. The jury is still out on this one as I have found a problem which I am hoping is just with my phone. Having taken the back cover off about 4 times I have noticed that when looking at the front screen, the bottom right hand corner of the phone isn't quite flush with the back and if you press together there is a creaking sound. Sending the phone off to to HTC for repair but not happy so far. Plus does anyone know how to stop the ads from google appearing on the bottom of the phone?
