Xperia Play Gaming Phone Video Review
Well the handset most gamers have been waiting for should be out now, the PlayStation phone of course, and for those that may still be in two minds whether to pick up the gaming centric device we have a review video for your consideration below.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia Play review video comes our way courtesy of the guys over at Phone Arena and delivers twelve minutes of getting up close and personal with the Android Gingerbread smartphone.
You are probably already aware of the specification of the Xperia Play and that it features a dedicated slide out gamepad, with the “human curvature” design which was first seen in the Sony Ericsson Vivaz, so I won’t go over them again now.
However the guys do have a five page written review on their website if you wish to check that out, if not them hit the play button on the video below, but the guys surmise their review by saying that the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play is a bit rough round the edges but could well be the harbinger of things to come.

Awesome review. I'm going to wait until 02 release their exclusive debugged white version, to be on the safe side.
Im glad Sony Ericsson decided to make the Xperia Play a Mobile first, and a gaming device second.
Great review, I'm going to get this o nt-mobile uk but Engadget had said that the screen isnt great. Looks fine in this vid though so guess I'll have a look in store.
this review is much fairer.. Engadget's review was suspiciously bias!
