Android Froyo Droid X 2 Captured on Video

The successor to the Motorola Droid X, the Droid X 2 still hasn’t officially been confirmed by Motorola, but that doesn’t mean the Android smartphone doesn’t exist. If fact we have a little proof of Droid X 2 existence for your consideration below.

That proof comes in the form of some video footage of the Motorola Droid X 2 courtesy of Jon Rettinger over at Technobuffalo, which shows off the Android 2.2 Froyo sporting smartphone along with numerous images of the device in the wild.

Apparently it hasn’t yet been decided whether the Motorola Droid X 2 will ship with Froyo or Android 2.3 Gingerbread, but the specs for the device are…a 4.3-inch qHD touch screen, 8 megapixel camera with LED flash and 720p video capture, NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core 1.2GHz processor, microHDMI, microUSB, light and proximity sensors, compass, gyroscope, 768MB RAM and accelerometer.

Apparently the Droid X 2 doesn’t support Verizon’s 4G LTE network, but is almost identical to the original Motorola Droid X. So with that said I’ll let you head on down to mash that play button and check out the action…enjoy.

That's not 2.3.3. That's not even 2.3. the interface looks like the GB pics and videos on the DX because what you see when you look at the interface on the X is motoblur. The phone in the video has the latest version of motoblur, but is not running gingerbread. It's an easy mistake to make.

Love the Droid X havent put it down since I got it in Aug./2010………….. But if this is the new Droid X2 then its not good enuff to keep me from getting the 4g thunderbolt. The Thunderbolt is a litting smaller heavier and screen bigger then the Droid X it self and is clinically the same on processing and speed, just the Thunderbolt is a 4g lte. I love the X but the Thunderbolt is looking pretty hot right now.
