In the world today, countries economies are in a mess resulting in high taxes, pressure on the everyday person and large unemployment, but it appears an American politician has discovered the main reason why there are so many unemployed in America…the Apple iPad.

We have some video footage for your viewing consideration below courtesy of the guys over at 9to5 Mac and by way of YouTube user ShaddapPlease, in which republican Jesse Jackson Jr, puts the blame firmly at the feet of Apple and their iOS tablet for “eliminating thousands of American jobs.”

Apparently such places as Barnes & Noble and Borders are closing stores because no one needs to go to stores any more as all they need to do is download a book, magazine or newspaper onto their Apple iPad.

Furthermore schools are turning to the Apple iPad for teaching rather than using textbooks, which at some point will result in the loss of publishing company jobs.
