Could you explain what you mean by “Microsoft Office 365 beta is now live and access can be made via the likes of Android, iPhone and Windows Mobile so it made sense for us to let you know a little bit about this new service.”

365 is NOT accessible via iPhone in a browser. If you mean you can sync, ok. But the main draw to 365 is its use in-browser. To that end, NO it is not accessible. I got my beta invite and signed up right away. I came away from it feeling like I tried to rub lotion into my feet with a razor. It sucks. I temporarily altered my MX records for this. Thank God for alternatives like Google Apps.
