Samsung Droid Charge Release Delayed By Verizon
For the Android faithful that were expecting Verizon to make the Samsung Droid Charge available for purchase as of today the 28th, it appears you are in for a disappointment as word is the Samsung Droid Charge release has now been delayed.
According to the guys over at Engadget they have obtained a Verizon internal email, which apparently says that the release of the Samsung Droid Charge is delayed due to “unexpected delays” and Verizon hasn’t given a new date for the launch.
Word is the Droid Charge could have been delayed due to Verizon’s 4G LTE network outage; however apparently the guys have heard that the 4G LTE network is gradually being restored, but say that it is unlikely the Samsung Droid Charge will release today.
Unfortunate for those that are waiting to snap up the Android Samsung Droid Charge today but hopefully the Big Red will get their LTE sorted and push out the 4G smartphone as soon as possible. Anyone annoyed they can’t get the Droid Charge today?

is the Charge screen better [sharper, clearer, brighter] than the Thunderbolt?
considering the phone is basically old tech with a 4.3" screen and a 4G LTE chip, I am not terribly dissapointed. I'll continue waiting for the Droid Bionic or Droid 3 if it ever comes out.
im just super annoyed how all these 4G phones are getting delayed and delayed and delayed. That 4G thing in January is gona seem like forever ago when all 4 phones are finally released…Might as well wait for the Samsung Galaxy S2 or HTC Sensation now
this sucks i have a preorder in already. and I cant stand my current phone! hopefully this delay is not a long one.

ugh! I was planning on going to the VZ store tonight to pick up my phone. I've been waiting patiently for a new one and now it's back to waiting. So disappointed
Another screwup by the Verizon CEO who just realized the Charger would support NFL Mobile and Verizon couldn't charge another $10 per month for V Cast. NFL mobile is free for previous 3G phones.
It's about time Verizon stockholders dump this CEO.
