iOS 4.3.3 UltraSn0w iPhone Unlock: Your Views
For those Apple faithful or unfaithful (depending on how you want to look at it) out there, that like tinkering with their iPhones. We would like to hear your views on the UltraSn0w 1.2.3, a software to unlock Apple’s iPhone 4, 3GS and 3G version iOS 4.3.3.
Approximately a week ago the Dev Team released their UltraSn0w 1.2.3, which unfortunately like the previous version that was released about 3 weeks ago; it did not unlock the latest iPhone basebands and only worked for older basebands.
The basebands the UltraSn0w 1.2.3 worked okay on were the iPhone 4 baseband 1.59.00, and iPhone 3GS/3G basebands 4.26.08, 5.11.07, 5.12.01, 5.13.04, and 6.15.00. As stated in the article by iPD, if your iPhone baseband differed from those in the list, you would not be able to use UltraSn0w 1.2.3 to unlock your device.
For those that have not used the UltraSn0w 1.2.3 yet, it can be downloaded from Cydia. However, remember to reboot your iPhone after the installation.

I have used ultrasn0w with several iphones, including iphone 4 that is preserved on baseband 01.59.00. I have found it to be a great unlock tool. One issue I noticed is interference with the skype app. Before installing ultrasn0w on a jailbroken iphone the skype worked fine on wifi; however, after ultrasn0w installation, skype complains of poor signal and yields poor sound quality. I have noticed this with several 3GS phones and also the iphone 4
All in all great tool from the iphone Dev team. I love their efforts

hello, guys, i was having problem with the carrier signal bars, so i installed ultrasn0w 1.2.3 in order to solve this problem which work perfectly for this purpose, but for some reason i dont know my cellphone ‘battery was full when i went to bed last night( i intalled it right bef going to bed) when i woke up the battery was dead.
the battery was working great before ultrasn0w bla bla bla- so i think it might be something wrong with it.
