HTC Puccini vs. iPad 2: Price Chooses Winner

All that is standing in the way of the HTC Puccini tablet being better than the Apple iPad is surely the price, could this really be a HTC Puccini vs. iPad 2?

HTC is all set to launch the HTC Puccini tablet, which is basically a bigger version of the HTC Flyer according to ITProPortal. The HTC Puccini comes featured with 1280×800 pixel (WXGA) resolution, dual core Qualcomm MSM8660 processor clocking 1.5GHz with an Adreno 220 GPU.

This new tablet by HTC will be launched on AT&T’s 4G network and will run Google Android, have to wait and see if Honeycomb or Gingerbread will be the chosen operating system. It will feature HTC Sense user interface and HTC Watch video on demand service plus HTC Scribe and Onlive.

It seems the HTC Puccini is on par with other tablets such as the Flyer, Motorola Xoom and the iPad 2, but it is the price that is stamped on the Puccini that will decide if this is the one to have. The 32GB 3G iPad 2 is priced at £579, the HTC Flyer 7-inch tablet costs £600, and wonder what the price of the Puccini will be.
