Samsung Hercules for T-Mobile: Awesome Specs
There’s a new Android smartphone destined for T-Mobile on the horizon that will apparently wow customers with the device’s awesome specs, and the new handset is from Samsung and called the Samsung Hercules, but you have a while to wait for it yet.
We first made mention of the Samsung Hercules in a previous post, which can be read (here) and now according to Engadget by way of This Is My Next, the Samsung Hercules is something of a superphone that touts some pretty compelling specifications such as a 1.2 GHz dual-core Snapdragon APQ8060 processor, combined with 1GB RAM and 16GB flash storage, and 42mbps HSDPA.
It doesn’t end there though as the word is the Samsung Hercules totes a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus display and plays nice with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, will pack NFC tech, MHL support and an 8 megapixel camera with 1080p video capture.
As for that wait, apparently the Samsung Hercules won’t be ready for T-Mobile until sometime mid August, and as for pricing, apparently the Android handset is listed in the “over $350” category, but will it be worth every penny, guess we’ll have to wait and see.
