New MetroPCS Phones: Huawei M835 and Samsung Freeform III
New MetroPCS phones have made there way to it website, the two handsets in question are the Huawei M835 and Samsung Freeform III.
The first MetroPCS phone is the Huawei M835 that runs on the Android 2.2 Froyo operating system, main features here include a 2.8-inch QVGA display, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.2-megapixel camera with video capture and DTS Envelo sound enhancer software. The handset itself costs $79.99 after rebates.
For some reason we cannot see the Huawei M835 be favoured, it only has 256MB of RAM and a lacklustre QVGA resolution. You can opt to buy the phone for only $80 with no contract plan, personally even though it has a low price it will not be popular at all considering there are better Android phone son the market, hey we could be wrong.
The Huawei M835 comes with a 1200mAh battery and a 2GB microSD card, the price as said is $80 but this will change back to the normal price of $130. Personally if you like it, get it now before the price goes up another $50.
MetroPCS has also made available the Samsung Freeform III bar-style messaging phone; main features here include a 2.4-inch display, full QWERTY keyboard, MP3 player, many messaging applications and a 1.3-megapixel camera.
The handset costs $49.99 after rebates, the screen has a 480×320-pixel resolution, and the keyboard has ridged keys, other features include support for up to 32GB microSD cards, Bluetooth support. Retail price is $99 but can be yours for only $49 after an instant online discount.
For some reason we are not getting excited here, the many mobile phones being released at the moment are fairly exciting whereas the two phones mentioned here are basic. Suppose they are good if you want a simple handset with no frills.
