Both devices are high-end handset on their respective carriers, and both smartphones bring the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system into play, but there are a few differences spec wise.

The Motorola Droid 3 offers a slider form factor with physical slide out QWERTY along with a 4-inch qHD touch screen, an 8 megapixel camera with LED flash and 1080p video, a 0.3 megapixel VGA front facing camera, 1 GHz duel core processor, 16GB internal memory, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, 3.5mm jack and microSD expansion up to 32GB.

When it comes to the T-mobile myTouch 4G Slide the smartphone offers, a physical slide out QWERTY keyboard, a 3.7-inch Super LCD touch screen, 8 megapixel camera with dual LED flash and 1080p video, VGA front facing camera, 1.2 GHz dual core Snapdragon processor, HTC Sense UI with T-Mobile Espresso overlay, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mm jack, 1GB internal memory and microSD expansion up to 32GB.

Apparently the Motorola Droid 3 and T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide are coming out about the same time with the Droid 3 commanding $199.99 on Verizon, and the myTouch 4G Slide costing the same price form T-Mobile, but how do they face up to each other and which device should you opt for?
