Samsung GT-I9250 Ice Cream Sandwich Superphone: 4.65-inch Screen & 720p

Samsung is releasing five new smartphones and one of them stands right out in the crown, say hello to the new Samsung GT-I9250 featuring Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS and 720p.

The 5 Samsung phones are called the Samsung GT-I9250, GT-I9220, GT-I9210, GT-I8150 and the B5510-W41.

The GT-I9250 is going to be the smartphone that will be most welcomed with open arms. Main features include Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, a gigantic 4.65-inch screen at a 1280 x 720 resolution (Yes that is 720p) and 5-megapixel camera.

Even better is the stunning Samsung GT-I9220, this one features a stonking 5.29-inch display, 1280 x 720 Super AMOLED Plus screen, 1.4 Ghz dual-core processor, this one however will come running Android 2.3 Gingerbread and not ICS, the camera is larger than the GT-I9250 at 8-megapixel.

Next up is the GT-I9210 and this one comes with a nice 4.5-inch screen (800 x 480 resolution), which is disappointing considering the two above features 720, other features include 4G, 8-megapixel camera on the rear and a 2-megapixel front facing camera, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, full HD recording, 1750 mAH battery and we know this is a good start for more life on the go, Wifi b/g/n and weighs 4.5 ounces.

Now we are getting to the more modest phones, the Samsung GT-I8150 has a smaller 3.7-inch screen at 800 x 480, 5-megapixel rear camera featuring 720p at 30 fps as well as a VGA front-facing camera, Wifi b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, 4GB internal storage, FM radio and support for HSPA+.

The Samsung B5510-W41 Android phone only has a boring 2.8-inch screen, QWERTY keyboard, very low 3-megapixel camera and an FM radio. Sorry but this one is very boring considering the first two phones mentioned above.

We are really stuck for choice here, the two we really love is the GT-I9250 and the Samsung GT-I9220, the first offers Ice Cream Sandwich with a nice 4.65-inch screen, and even though the GT-I9220 comes running Gingerbread out of the box it is the huge 5.29-inch display, 1280 x 720 Super AMOLED Plus screen and 1.4 Ghz dual-core processor that is stealing our hear.

If we had our heads on the block we would have to choose the ICS GT-I9250, for more information please visit Slash Gear.

All this chat about Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system prompts us to remind you that it has been found running on the Google Nexus S smartphone here.

What Samsung Android smartphone would you choose?
