HTC Bliss Changing Moniker to Rhyme

Phones Review Quickie: Seems like HTC is getting into the habit of changing a what a smartphone has become known before it gets release, we just reported that the word is the HT Runnymede would be changing name for the UK and will be the HTC Bass and now it appears that the female orientated HTC Bliss is going to get its name changed to the HTC Rhyme.

According to the guys over at This Is My Next, German website HTCinside has posted an press photo of the HTC Bliss and will apparently his retail as the HTC Rhyme and come with HTC Sense 3.5.

Specs for the HTC Bliss/Rhyme have yet to be confirmed it is said that the device will be an Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread smartphone with an 800MHz single core processor, will sport a shopping and calorie counting app along with a “charm indicator” accessory for the girls.

The press photo is of the green version of the smartphone, which we’ve seen previously and was destined for the Big Red, and the photo shows a Singapore weather widget, so this may not be the HTC Bliss/Rhyme heading for the states.

As for just when the Android handset might come out to play somewhere on the planet, the guys suggest that as the display in the image shows the 20th of September, they feel that it could surface next week, although of course that is just guesswork and unconfirmed.
