iOS 5 browser speed benefits more than iPhone 4S

When it comes to BrowserMark scores the iOS 5 browser speed is impressive as so is the iPhone 4S, giving a dramatic boost. It seems that the iOS 5 browser speed benefits more than iPhone 4S.

The new Apple iPhone 4S smartphone demonstrated a massive jump in performance when benchmarks were performed compared with the iPhone 4, but it is the new iOS 5 that stands out for us because it also boosts the performance on Apple devices.

It is the iOS 5 that boosts existing iPhone speeds, and even better on the iPhone 4S. When the iPhone 4 running iOS 4.2.1 was tested the benchmark score came in at 31,375 in Rightware’s BrowserMark suite of tests.

The Samsung Galaxy S II reached a benchmark score of 50504, the Motorola Atrix 4G scored 53576 and the LG Optimus 2X reached 50877.

The iPhone 4S hardware got a huge score of 89,567, which makes it 42 percent faster than the existing iPhone, now that is stunning.
